let the sunshine

I wanted sun, and sun I did get. 

Last Saturday I mowed the lawn and was out in the yard all day, and it didn't even occur to me to wear sunblock. Lesson learned.

I couldn't sleep, I couldn't go to yoga, it hurt to do everything. 

And now I am shedding like a snake in spring. 

I haven't been burned like this since I was ten!
