The Thomas Jefferson Memorial was my favorite (along with honest Abe) of all the memorials we saw in DC. Jefferson's rotunda is secluded by the water. It is calm, and beautiful there. The structure itself is really beautiful too. I loved the four quotes on the walls. Read them, they are incredible. He was an amazing man and president.
