21

I have been reading the book "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin. This book has inspired me to do my own happiness project...kinda.

In this book Gretchen takes a year to make herself happier even though she claims she was already happy, she just wanted to be truly happy. Each month she focuses on a new item like energy, or love. My project is a little different, it is more of a bettering project. Studies have shown that it usually takes about 21 days to break or form a habit. Whether you have recently moved and have to take a different route home or trying to stop biting your nails, after 21 days you don't have to consciously make this decision.
so...
every 21 days I will take on a new habit that I would either like to brake or form. At the end of the 21 days I will take on a new habit and hopefully each time will have been successful.

FIRST HABIT OF CHOICE:
to take my vitamins every day. This includes a multi-vitamin, a calcium supplement and an Omega-3 with fish oil.

Started: September 1
so far, so good.

I have always struggled with remembering to take a pill, but I am hoping that if I simply focus on this one habit I will be able to conquer that forgetfulness and form a habit.

Wish me luck!
