24

last thursday i turned 24.
24.
wow.
I know it's not that big of a wow and i'm not that old,
but i can't believe that i am 24.
i think yesterday i was 15. i think.

It seems that I am always away from home on my birthday
I have celebrated my day of birth in
Scotland
Arizona
Colorado
California
Seattle
Bear Lake Idaho (many a times)
camping...some place
and now
Florida!

Since I was away from home and family this year David wanted to make sure that everything was perfect for my birthday. He went to work and let me sleep in. I woke up and did my favorite thing...exercised, then I exercised some more. I exercised until David came home for lunch. He then insisted that I open the big box that his parents sent me. It was the Wii fit! Lucy was just as excited as I was and helped me open the gift. Thanks Sharette's!

I played with the Wii for the rest of the afternoon... it even wished me happy birthday!
When David came home we headed off towards the bay area to get some yummy crab, followed by some cupcakes on the bayshore blvd.

But before we left David gave me his gifts. He is so good to me...he gave me a ticket to Cleveland to see my brother and sister in law and tickets for a cruise! The best gift though...he agreed to run a half marathon with me! yahooooooo!

The night we had planned sounded great, but it didn't go quite as planned. First off I think we both ate too much crab and felt sick after. When we tried to find the cute little cupcake store they had moved locations and were now closed. So we ended up going to a pretty ghetto little bakery, but since it was my birthday he gave us the cupcakes free! Too bad I thought I was going to puke so I didn't eat any of them. The boulevard was not enjoyed to its full potential either due to the wanting to puke feeling. So we headed home and played the wii and went to bed early.

this picture was taken by our waitress and then posted on their website...
which would explain the distortion. my apologies.

Overall it was a splendid birthday. My sisters even sent me a cake in the mail through the
dessert bistro. It was mailed to our door and was delicious.
Thanks everyone!
