pass a grille

David and I went to a little historic town called Pass a Grille that is in Clearwater.
It's an adorable little town with no commercial hotels or stores.

The beach and the water were unbelievable, no wonder it is rated one of the top beaches in the U.S.

The best thing about Florida is the weather. And by that I am referring to the fact that when we got to the beach there were huge gray clouds hovering above, and they actually poured some water down on us for a bit, but within ten minutes it was 90 degrees and sunny again.
Since our little umbrella was cheap, this very nice couple next to us who were much more prepared than us, invited us to sit under their shade tent. They were full of all sorts of helpful advice on how to make our way around Florida.

It seems as though every time we go to the beach we think of something else that we should bring next time. We are slowly learning how to be beach people instead of snow people.
We're coming along...

Due to my mom being an adorable red head with freckles, I have freckles as well. They are on my knees, shoulders and more than a few on my face. However, they especially like to make an appearance when I am out in the sun for an hour or two. This picture doesn't even convey the intensity of my little kisses from the sun.

It looks like you guys are having so much fun! Though I should warn you that even though it's fun to visit the ocean you shouldn't go in--obviously I've been watching Shark Week.
