We were told that the Lincoln Memorial was best at night. And while it doesn't make for the best pictures, it seriously was a sight to behold all lit up. It of course was unlike anything I had ever seen before. The walls have the Gettysburg address printed on them. While we stood there reading the words of this incredible man I was full of so much gratitude. I am grateful for good people, who do the right thing. Davie and I feel so lucky to have gone to DC and see so many incredible historical things. I know it may seem like no big deal to most, but to us it was something really special.
