Orlando

Last weekend David and I decided to make the 'trek' to the Orlando Temple. It is a little more than an hour away from Brandon, which really is a trek compared to what we are used to. We are quickly learning that Utahn's really are so spoiled when it comes to the church.

We took a change of clothes with us because we fully intended on doing some sight seeing or at least checking out the high end mall that the Fodor's Florida book talked about. Once we were out of the temple and we felt that Florida heat and humidity the tiredness struck. We were too tired to care about Orlando, but don't be sad great city of Orlando, we will be back soon to see what this Disney World of yours is really about.

The temple itself was beautiful, but what temple isn't? It was surrounded by beautiful Florida plant life and had these giant pillars leading up to the entrance. The inside was just as beautiful. There was no one around to take a picture of us, so we only have the awkward one man standing kind. boo.

We were both so happy to go to the temple. The feelings there are like none other. Those feelings are especially needed when family is far away. I am so glad to know of the Plan of Salvation and that families really can be together forever. Woo, go Gospel!
